internet marketing blog

There are at least 18 ways to promote on the internet.

With so much ways to promote, you might not have the time and resources to execute.

I came from another field before I took up internet marketing way back in 1998. I just transferred some of my competencies to this new field.

One of the lessons I find some usefulness on internet marketing is the concept of multiple use.

A. Pearson Concept

To apply this concept, you have to give equal attention and resources to each promotion.

B. Dana-McArdle Concept or Dominant Use

You select one promotion (dominant) and weave the other promotions to your campaign.

From my experience, there are certain types of products and services that a particular concept is most applicable.

However, for well-funded campaigns by my clients, I use the Pearson concept initially. After 2-3 months of testing, I select the promotions that really bring money to the client and discard the rest.
