Why Create An eCommunity?

internet marketing blog

And for that matter, Blogging, Really Simple Syndication (RSS),
and other Social Networking and Web 2.0 tools.

It is the only way for the Newbie Marketer like you vs. the Big
Dogs and Fat Cats of the Internet/Web.

I have seen a lot of newbies, with high hopes at the very start,
almost always taste defeat at the hands of the sharks out there.

I also cried for them because I’m a fellow Entrepreneur and the
unsuspecting newbies are being taken advantage of and milked of
their cash. I hate it.

Here are 3 major reasons:

1. Age of Your Website

You website is just new. Some of my students don’t even have a
website yet.

The top search engines and directories, your supposed major
source of free visitors, will just put you on hold (Sandbox Effect).

They will monitor your website for a very long time, usually 3-6
months, if it’s still there. For this very long time, your website does
not appear on their top searches, even though indexed already.

Some new websites even take a year to be top ranked and some
never will.

No top rank, no free visitors. No visitors, no sale.
No sale, no profits.

The search engines and directories deny the Sandbox Effect but it
is a fact of life for us Internet Marketers.

By creating your own eCommunity, Blog, and RSS, you avoid the
Sandbox Effect.

For some newbies, the eCommunity, Blog, and RSS can be your
substitute to an HTML website.

You don’t have to create a website anymore, if you don’t know
HTML coding. You already have a web destination.

2. Your Competition Is Already A Pro

Aside from being already the top rank, your competitions are
already professionals who know the ins and outs of internet
marketing. And you’re only an amateur.

Simply imagine how you can defeat me as a newbie, with more
than 9 years of experience, 9 websites and 120 blogs with existing
135,000 website visitors per month and increasing.

Much more those sharks who employ black hat tactics, aside from
having a big experience in this field.

Their websites are already search engine optimized (SEO) and
submitted to search engines and directories (SEM) using sitemaps
and RSS. They know at least 18 internet marketing promotions.

What knowledge and skills have you got right now?

By creating your own eCommunity, Blog, and RSS, you are
dictating the playing field, a playing field most Pros have not
mastered yet.

Social Networking and Web 2.0 is still new, at least 4 years old.

Much more, it is a flanking tactic vs. your competition. You don’t
meet them head on at their own game.

3. It is the easiest way to a lot of free visitors from the
Internet/Web

I once created a blog for a client and in 3-weeks time, it
contributed at least 30% of her total website visitors.

The Aredconsult Online Learning Network of websites has at least
120 blogs and 4 eCommunities, and still increasing.

By creating your own eCommunity, Blog, and RSS, the Power no
longer reside on search engines and directories.

It finally shifted to YOU, the unsung small and individual
publishers and eCommunity organizers.
