Opportunistic Thinking vs. Strategic Thinking
Do you receive a lot of emails offering business opportunities that is sooo easy to reap profits that even your little brother or your dog can do it?
Don't be one of the many who are gullible enough to readily enroll.
My point is that you don't have to accept every "opportunity" that comes your way.
Instead, adopt strategic thinking and stay focused.
Strategic thinking is positioning your strengths to the opportunities/gaps in the market.
How about starting with a particular target market in mind. Then, build a list of products for that particular target market.
Here are my tips on how to do it:
1. You must have a clear sense of what your "product" should be and who its audience is.
2. Pick a customer group and remain true to it. You might not be the best in what you do but you are the only one who's doing it.
3. Sustain the development of this single market segment.
4. Establish long-term personal relationship with your target audience.
5. Create a community.
